The event, which takes place at the Springwood Unit in Malton Hospital this Thursday (27 June) from 10am until 4pm, is an ideal opportunity to find out more about the role of a healthcare assistant working in NHS mental health services.
Meet the team
The Springwood Unit provides specialist care to people living with dementia. Karen Ashby, Springwood’s modern matron, said:
“We would encourage anyone interested in working with older people in an NHS mental health trust to come and meet our friendly team on Thursday.
“We can tell them more about the role of a healthcare assistant and how mental health nursing can support patients to live fulfilling lives and make a real difference.
