Our TEWV 10k saw over 300 hundred people run, jog and walk around the Knavesmire in York Racecourse.
There was also our new 1 mile TEWV Fun Run with participants from the age of three being treated to an Easter egg at the finish line.

YO1 Radio provided the entertainment with music and commentary, and The Recharge Hub in York warmed up participants before they took on the 10k.
The first male over the finish line was Matthew Hirst from Selby Striders, who finished in 36 minutes and 30 seconds. Helen Gavin was the 10k’s first female in 43 minutes and 4 seconds.

Emma Brookshaw, race director and a modern matron in our Trust, said: “Our second TEWV 10k run was another great day – with hundreds of people crossing the finish line, some raising much needed funds for their chosen charity.
“We believe we are the first NHS Trust to organise a running event in the region, and possibly the country, and we are proud to bring this event to York.”
