Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the PPiMH serves as a platform to recognise and honour individuals and organisations making significant contributions to mental health support and services across the UK.
There were 21 categories and Team TEWV secured a total of five awards and several highly commended.
Richard Hand was honoured with the Outstanding Leader Award, acknowledging his exceptional leadership within the organisation.
The ISU Team at HMP Durham were recognised for its innovative approach to supporting individuals within the criminal justice system.
The Teesside Children and Young People Community ED Service emerged victorious, highlighting the trust’s commitment to providing specialised care for vulnerable populations.
TEWV’s Older Adult Functional Mental Health Services and/or Dementia County Durham & Darlington Care Home Liaison Hub earned well-deserved recognition for their efforts in supporting older adults’ mental health needs.
Addressing mental health inequalities head-on, The REACH team in Scarborough received accolades for their impactful work in the local community

Additionally, Recovery College Online, Kestrel Kite Ward at Ridgeway, Employee Support Services, and the Wellbeing Unit from HMP Hull were all highly commended for their outstanding contributions to mental health support and care.
