It’s all part of its Journey to Change. Developed in partnership with patients, carers, partners and colleagues it launched last year and sets out where the Trust wants to be and how it will get there.
The most recent plans the Trust is sharing support its Journey to Change and are available to view in a summary format on www.tewv.nhs.uk. They set out the Trust’s vision in five key areas:
- Clinical – providing high quality, safe, kind, effective and personalised clinical care
- Quality – making services safer and improving patient experience through evidence-based care
- Working together (co-creation) – seeking out and acting upon the voices of patients, carers, colleagues and partners to improve care
- Infrastructure – how the places, such as hospitals and offices, equipment used, information gathered, and the systems and processes put in place support excellent patient care
- People – ensuring everyone who works and volunteers with the Trust has a great experience
Mike Brierley, assistant chief executive at TEWV said: “We have spent the last few years really listening to people and working together to make sure our future plans put patient and carer experience at the very heart of what we do.
“The plans we are sharing now are a continuation of that work. We welcome the views of everyone who lives within the communities we serve. There’s a short questionnaire for you to fill in on our website to tell us if we’re getting it right.”
