At the end of June, we made our annual submission to NHS England’s Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve achieved the required standards in all mandatory and non-mandatory requirements. The importance of this achievement can’t be underestimated – it shows everyone in our care, those who care for them and our commissioners that we continue to practise good data security and that all personal information is being handled correctly.
Our work goes on all year round so that we can all manage data, devices, systems, apps and emerging technologies safely, while staying protected from outside threats.
Everyone that works here plays a part in the toolkit by completing mandatory training, reporting suspicious emails, and fostering a data-safe culture.
Achieving the required standard with our annual toolkit is a true reflection of all of our colleagues’ contributions.
