August 2020
We launched Our big Conversation to to get ideas and insight from patients, carers, our staff and partners on what we do well and what could be improved.
Nearly 2,000 people joined in.
An independent team analysed the data and found a number of common themes including the sort of behaviours you expect from our colleagues, ambitious goals and what we need to get in place to improve.
September 2020
We asked people to share their views and feedback about what we had drafted based on the feedback we received in our first conversation.
Together, we co-created Our Journey to Change.
February 2021
The next phase of Our Big Conversation was all about what you thoughts about the new plans. In particular we asked:
- Are we focusing on the right things?
- What’s missing?
- Could we change these actions to make a bigger difference?
October 2021
In our latest conversation we asked:
- What adds value to patient care and what contributes to a positive experience for service users, carers and staff?
- What are the things that we do that are not helpful in your care and that you think we could stop?
- What’s working well and what could be improved in our buildings, the technology we use and the way we communicate with you?
- There was also a specific question just for staff about our people management policies and procedures because we want to make sure they feel supportive and reflect our new values.
An update on our latest conversation including what we heard and some of the actions we’re taking.
